2025 and Present
Inter—Connection Poster and Postcards, Freelance Work
Inter—Connection was a 2025 MFA Thesis Exhibition presented by Jason Wang. Working with him, I created different iterations of posters and postcards as promotional material for his exhibition. The ceramic work pictured was made by Jason, and the images and graphics were created by me. Photos were edited using Adobe Lightroom Classic and imported into Adobe Illustrator.
More Geese Than Swans Poster, Freelance Work
More Geese Than Swans was a 2025 MFA Thesis Exhibition presented by Madison Carson. Madison and I collaborated to bring her vision to life for a poster and a postcard. I created various iterations of her strong visions, working within a tight timeframe. I used Illustrator for type design and overall composition, as well as Photoshop for image modification (brightness, saturation, image mask).
Verdant Magazine Final, ART 2900 (Design Applications)
Verdant was a magazine I created for ART 2900, a special topics class.
Working in InDesign, I created a cover and magazine spreads. With the goal of information communication, I included photos I took that were edited in Lightroom Classic and graphics I made in Illustrator, with articles to go along.
Type Specimen, ART 2520 (Typography)
These graphics are part of a type specimen assignment. This 8in x 8in booklet displaying the font Change was comprised of all characters, including ligatures and symbols, displayed in a visually interesting way. Inspired by the name of the typeface, as well as the mission statement from the artist, I created a series of designs in Illustrator.
Quote to Font, ART 2520 (Typography)
"If nothing matters, man that's a relief"

Assignment: Create a typeface based on a quote and then apply the font to a shirt.
For this assignment, I learned FontLab. The final application was Cricut-cut vinyl, ironed onto a crewneck.
2024 and Before
Final Magazine Project, VICO 1414 (Intro To Visual Communication)
Cabin Fever was a magazine created for the final project in Intro to Visual Communication. The concept was to create a cover that included "1414" somewhere, and then arrange three different spreads that answer questions provided by the instructor.
I had always wanted to learn Blender, so I taught myself. For the cover, I created a render of a cabin in a forest, going for a playful plastic effect. On the spreads, I used images I have taken relating to nature. I used gouache for the smaller illustrations throughout the pages and scanned them into my working document. The magazine itself was designed in InDesign.
InDesign Tools Project, VICO 1414 (Intro To Visual Communication)
This project was my first introduction to InDesign. The task at hand was to create a graphic of any type, explaining the tools of InDesign. I drew the different icons in Illustrator and imported them as vectors into my working file on InDesign.
